BLANCANIEVES Y LOS SIETE ENANITOS

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess. Her name was Snow White. She had skin as white as snow and hair as black as night. Everyone loved her because she was very kind.

Snow White lived with her stepmother, the Queen. The Queen was not kind. She was very vain. She had a magic mirror. Every day, she asked the mirror: "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?"
Blancanieves vivía con su madrastra, la Reina. La Reina no era amable. Era muy vanidosa. Tenía un espejo mágico. Todos los días le preguntaba al espejo: «Espejito, espejito, ¿quién es la más bella de todas?».

The mirror always said: "You are the fairest, my Queen."
El espejo siempre decía: "Eres la más bella, mi reina".

But one day, the mirror said: "Snow White is the fairest of them all."

The Queen was very angry! She wanted to be the most beautiful. She told a hunter to take Snow White to the forest and kill her. But the hunter was a good man. He said to Snow White, "Run away! Do not come back to the castle."

Snow White ran into the deep, dark forest. She was very scared. Suddenly, she saw a small house. Inside, there were seven small chairs and seven small beds. Everything was very small! Snow White was tired, so she fell asleep on the beds.

Soon, the owners of the house came home. They were seven dwarfs. They worked in a mine to find gold. They saw Snow White and said, "Who is this girl?"

Snow White woke up and told them her story. The dwarfs liked her. "You can stay here with us," they said. "But be careful! Do not open the door for anyone."

Back at the castle, the magic mirror told the Queen that Snow White was still alive. The Queen was furious. she changed her face to look like an old woman. She went to the dwarfs' house with a red apple.

"Hello, dear," said the old woman. "Try this delicious apple."

Snow White took a bite. The apple was poisoned! Snow White fell to the floor. She looked like she was dead. The seven dwarfs were very sad. They cried and cried.

One day, a handsome Prince rode through the forest. He saw Snow White and thought she was beautiful. He kissed her hand. Suddenly, the piece of apple fell from her mouth. Snow White woke up!

The Prince and Snow White went to his castle. They lived happily ever after. The evil Queen was never seen again.
